Innovation and Entrepreneurship

All Saints’ College is leading in Enterprise and Innovation in WA Schools. Three key initiatives highlight the ways in which the College is creating opportunities to grow the capacity for innovation and promote an enterprising and entrepreneurial mindset in our students, teachers and broader community.

HotHouse Company

HotHouse Company is All Saints’ College’s Arts program that seeks to connect students to artists, artists to opportunities and audiences to experiences. The program goes beyond the confines of the curriculum and allows staff, students and the community to engage in creative pursuits regardless of experience or ability. HotHouse Company works in partnership with artists to create innovative experiences that inspire young people.

Propeller

Propeller Industries is the College’s hub for innovation and entrepreneurship which supports and encourages student-led initiatives and projects in this space.

InnovatED

The College’s InnovatED program fosters innovative thinking through co-designed curriculum projects that draw upon students’ own interest and concerns. The course is facilitated by a multi-disciplinary team of teachers who are working with students in Years 7, 8 and 10. At the core of InnovatED sits problem-finding, collaboration, and Design Thinking, which is a thinking framework used globally for developing innovative ideas and solutions.
